Get to Know Your Water System
- Capacity: 40 gallons total (2 x 20-gal stainless steel tanks).
- Pump: One 12V pump with a selector lever for front, rear, or both tanks.
- Connections: Quick connects for the kitchen and shower.
- Filling: Use the lockable blue-icon points with a potable hose.
Supplying Water
- Kitchen: Connect the front tank to the passenger-side quick connect.
- Shower: Use the rear tank for the driver’s-side shower.
- Transfer: Link the quick connects with a hose to move water between tanks.
- Hot Shower (Optional): The Eccotemp unit runs on propane for a warm rinse—flow-through design keeps it simple.
Packing Down and Draining
- Turn off the pump and open faucets to drain.
- Use the low-point drains on the tanks.
- Winterizing: Flush with RV antifreeze, sanitize after winter, and drain fully.
- Pro Tip: Sanitize every 6 months (no bleach) and watch water levels to protect the pump.
