OP15 Kitchen and Fridge Guide

Turn your OP15 into a gourmet campsite with the slide-out kitchen and Dometic CFX75 fridge! This guide helps you set up, cook, and troubleshoot for delicious off-road meals.

Kitchen Setup

  • Slide-Out Unit: Pull out the stainless steel kitchen and lock it in place with the spring bolts.
  • Features: Enjoy the 4-burner gas stove, electric tap sink, and lockable fold-down prep deck for extra workspace.
  • Safety Note: Disconnect the water and gas lines, and ensure the stove is cool before stowing the kitchen back into its compartment.

Using Your Fridge (Dometic CFX75)

  • Power Options: Runs on 12V or 120V—use 12V for off-grid efficiency or 120V via shore power for faster cooling.
  • Setup: Place the fridge in its designated compartment, plug it into a 12V outlet, and set it to ‘Eco’ mode. Pre-cool for 24 hours on 120V before your trip for best results.
  • Temperature Control: Adjust the digital thermostat from -4°F to 68°F to suit your needs—keep perishables like meat at 32°F or below.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the compartment’s fan vent is clear and position the fridge away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

Quick Troubleshooting

  • Low Power or No Cooling? Check the battery voltage (should be above 12.2V) and recharge with solar panels or shore power. Ensure the 12V plug is secure and the fuse (15A) is intact.
  • Error Codes? Refer to the Dometic manual for codes (e.g., E1 for low voltage)—reset by unplugging for 5 minutes.
