Opus Folding Camper; Fold-Over Cargo Rack Bike Carrier – Complete Installation Guide

Applicable Models: OP4, OP2  Tools Required: 5 mm Allen key Install Time: 8–12 minutes (two people recommended). This is not applicable to the caravan models - OP13, OP15 and OP17.

• Main crossbar with sliding securing bar Two mounting plates Two under brackets (long + short leg) Two locking bolts with fold-down T-handle Two self-adhesive rubber anti-slip strips Two square plastic end caps

Installation Steps

1. Prepare the Crossbar Push square end caps fully into both open ends until they click. Loosen the two 5 mm grub screws on the underside of the sliding securing bar. Position the bar to match bike frame width.
2. Position Mounting Plates Slide both mounting plates along the crossbar until they sit directly above the cargo rack arms. Peel and stick one rubber anti-slip strip centered on the top surface of each cargo rack arm under the plates.
3. Install Under Brackets From above, insert the long leg of each under bracket upward through the center square hole in the mounting plate. Hook the short leg securely under the cargo rack arm from underneath.
4. Attach Locking Bolts Drop each threaded locking bolt through the round hole in the mounting plate. Engage the eyelet end onto the slot in the under bracket.
5. Tighten and Lock Flip T-handle to vertical. Tighten clockwise to (hand-tight + ½ additional turn). Fold T-handle down 90° to locked position.
6. Repeat & Final Check Complete the second side. Load test: Apply downward force to center of bar – zero movement permitted. Re-torque both handles after first trip.
