Power Up Your OP4

Your OP4’s electrical system keeps the adventure going! This guide breaks down how to use 120V shore power, 12V batteries, and lights, plus simple tips to stay powered up off-road.

120V Shore Power for Comfort

  • Plug into a 30 Amp source with the exterior hookup on the driver’s side.
  • Enjoy 2 x 120V outlets and battery charging with the NOCO charger.
  • Find the main breaker/panel in the floor well.
  • Safety Tip: Use a grounded 30Ah cable/adapter and unplug during storms to avoid damage.

12V Battery System for Freedom

  • You’ve got 2 x 100Ah AGM batteries (200Ah total, 100Ah usable)—plenty for off-grid camping!
  • Turn on with the red key on the control panel; use switches for pumps, lights, and more.
  • Check It: The volt meter should read above 12.2V for appliances; the Amp meter and Battery indicator show usage (50% means low power).
  • Charging: Use shore power, your tow vehicle (DC-DC charger), or add a solar port.
  • Outlets: Plug into 12V/USB ports or mini outlets for lights.
  • Smart Use: Set the fridge to ‘low’ to save power, and consider a lithium upgrade for longer trips.

Lights and Fun Features

  • Dim the LED foot-well and ceiling lights with the control panel switch.
  • Use exterior and kitchen lights for nighttime tasks.
  • Enjoy the 12V stereo with Bluetooth, CD, Radio, and interior speakers.
  • Fuses: Check the manual for the fuse list (e.g., LP Alarm is 5A).

Quick Troubleshooting

  • No Charge? Check the cable, breakers, or NOCO/Progressive Dynamics charger light.
  • Low Power? Monitor voltage and set appliances to ‘low’.
