Safe Gas Use for Your OP4
Cook delicious meals on your OP4 with the propane gas system! This guide ensures safe setup and use of your 20-lb propane tank, keeping your off-road camping cozy and secure.
Setting Up Your Gas
- Place the 20-lb bottle in the holder and connect the regulator via the pigtail.
- Attach the quick connect to the kitchen or stove.
- Light the Stove: Push and hold the dial for 10 seconds to ignite—enjoy your meal!
Staying Safe
- Turn off the valve after cooking and stow the hose.
- The LP/CO detector (wired to the battery) alerts you if there are CO leaks within your camper—reset it via the reset button on the detector if you hear consistent beeping during storage.
- Important: No open flames inside, always ventilate, and check for leaks if you smell gas.
Quick Troubleshooting
- Won’t Ignite? Hold down the dial longer (10 sec) before removing your hand from the dial to properly light the store, or look for kinks in the quick connect line.
