Your OP4 Warranty Explained

This guide breaks down what’s covered, what’s not, and how to make a claim, so you can focus on enjoying the great outdoors. Let’s explore your warranty details!

Welcome to the Opus Camper USA family! Your OP4 off-road camper comes with a warranty to give you peace of mind on every adventure. This guide breaks down what’s covered, what’s not, and how to make a claim, so you can focus on enjoying the great outdoors. Let’s explore your warranty details!

What’s Covered Under Your OP4 Warranty

Your OP4 is built to last, and the warranty reflects that confidence. Here’s what’s included:

  • Seals: Enjoy 90 days of coverage for the finned rubber seals around lids and doors, protecting against leaks.
  • Fittings, Fixtures, Canvas, and Poles: Get 12 months of protection for components like the inflatable tent, kitchen fittings, and support poles.
  • Suspension and Structural Parts: Rest easy with 60 months of coverage for the chassis, suspension, and main frame—key to your OP4’s rugged durability.

This warranty starts from the date of purchase, so keep your receipt handy!

What’s Not Covered

While the warranty offers great protection, some situations are excluded to ensure fair use:

  • Misuse or Modifications: Damage from using your OP4 in ways not intended (e.g., off-road racing) or after unauthorized changes isn’t covered.
  • Wear and Tear: Normal wear from regular use, like faded canvas from sun exposure, falls outside warranty.
  • Accidents or Neglect: Cracks from collisions or failure to maintain (e.g., not cleaning seals) aren’t included.
  • Environmental Damage: Issues from extreme weather, floods, or pests (e.g., chewed wires) are your responsibility.

Following the user manual’s care instructions helps avoid these exclusions and keeps your OP4 in top shape.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If something goes wrong, here’s how to get support:

  • Contact Your Dealer: Reach out to the dealership where you bought your OP4. They’ll guide you through the process and may handle repairs.
  • Provide Proof: Have your purchase receipt or warranty registration (completed by your dealer) ready. Keep records of any maintenance or issues.
  • Warranty Limits: The warranty is for the original owner and covers recreational use only—not commercial or rental purposes.

If your dealer can’t help, or you’re on the road, contact us directly at Opus Camper USA for assistance.

Tips for Maximizing Your Warranty

  • Regular Maintenance: Check brakes, seals, and the tent as outlined in the Maintenance Guide to prevent issues that might void coverage.
  • Document Everything: Take photos or videos of any problems and save repair invoices to support your claim.
  • Act Promptly: Report issues within the coverage period to avoid delays.
